Shipping Policy
How I Ship My Livestock Birds Safely
I take the health and safety of my birds seriously. Here's how I ensure they arrive to you in great condition:
1. Secure, Approved Shipping Boxes:
I use ventilated, USPS-approved poultry shipping boxes designed to provide airflow and protect the birds during transit.
2. Weather-Appropriate Shipping:
I only ship when weather conditions are safe—avoiding extreme heat or cold. Heat packs or cool packs are added when necessary.
3. Fast, Priority Express Shipping:
Birds are shipped via USPS Priority Express (overnight or 1-2 day service) to minimize time in transit.
4. Proper Labeling and Handling:
Each box is clearly labeled “Live Birds – Handle With Care,” and includes your contact information in case of delays.

Return & Exchange Policy
At FEATHERED FRIENDS POULTRY, we stand behind the quality and health of our birds. While live animals cannot be returned once shipped or picked up, we offer the following policy to ensure your satisfaction:
Live Arrival Guarantee:
We guarantee that all birds will arrive alive and in healthy condition. If any bird arrives deceased or in poor health due to shipping, please contact us within 2 hours of delivery with clear photos or video for verification.
Replacements or Refunds:
If birds arrive deceased or unfit, we will offer a replacement (when available) or store credit/refund for the affected bird(s), excluding shipping costs.
Replacements are shipped at the buyer’s expense unless the issue was due to our error.
No Returns on Live Birds:
For biosecurity and health reasons, we cannot accept live bird returns once they leave our care.
Order Cancellations:
Orders can be canceled for a full refund up to 72 hours before the scheduled ship or pickup date. Cancellations made after this period may be subject to a restocking fee or may not be eligible for a refund, depending on the circumstances.
Customer Responsibility:
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure someone is available to receive the birds upon arrival and to provide appropriate care and housing.
