The perfect homesteader's turkey
It's vitally important that the genetics of this breed not be lost. These turkeys are amazing in that they are active foragers, can reproduce naturally, have no dark pin feathers, dress cleanly, are easy to handle and have kind personalities. 
Our hens lay eggs nearly every day from February until September and a few go broody throughout the year. We artificially incubate and brood all of our poults. They are absolutely delightful to raise, because of their calm and curious personalities.
