Origin: Developed in France in 1978 by the Institut de Sélection Animale (ISA). 
Purpose: Bred for commercial egg production. 
Egg Production: Can lay 300-350 eggs per year, sometimes starting earlier than other breeds. 
Characteristics: Medium-sized, with brown feathers and white tail feathers. They typically weigh 2-3 kg. 
Temperament: Gentle and friendly, making them suitable for families.
